Referees and Referee Points (for U10 and up)
- U6 division: coaches can referee their own game. Referee pts are not needed.
- U8 division: games should be refereed by certified referees who at minimum took the online Regional Referee Course at AYSO U. First half refereed by the first team, and second half refereed by the other team.
- U10 and U12 division: volunteers who attended the full-day referee training and passed the course are certified to referee U10, U12, and
- U14 games (AR only). They can sign up on Matchtrak as CR (Center Referee) or AR (Assistant Referee). Full game schedule will be available next week for sign ups. If you don't have access to Matchtrak or need referee gear, please contact Todd, our RRA. Those who wish to become referee can take the full-day course offered at various locations (check AYSO U) or the online course plus the field training.
Please note Regional Referee training is scheduled on picture day (9/17), 8AM-1PM. Please sign up using AYSO U.
* IMPORTANT NOTE: NO REF, NO GAMES. Mathematically, each team is responsible for providing a team of refs (CR, two AR) for half of their season or 5 games. Board members will be monitoring the games and will instruct offending parties to leave the field. Please remind this to everyone.
